About Caroline

Caroline Burke, LCAT (she/her) - With a background in theater and acting, Caroline firmly believes in the power of drama and art to facilitate therapeutic change.  She takes a holistic approach to psychotherapy, working with each client to identify goals and challenges, and offers creative arts interventions in addition to more traditional forms of talk therapy. She values the power of play, embodiment, the use of projectives, witnessing, and spontaneity to support clients in stretching and growing.

Caroline brings a diverse range of clinical experience, having worked in inpatient psychiatry, schools, outpatient settings, and specialized eating disorder treatment programs. She has supported teens, adults, couples, families, and facilitated group therapy. Caroline is skilled in helping people navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), eating disorders, trauma, bipolar disorder, psychosis, substance use, and neurodivergent experience.

Caroline is passionate about helping people repair their relationships to their bodies, processing trauma and grief, exploring intersectional identities, and navigating the twists and turns of life. She operates from a trauma-informed, body liberation, LGBTQIA+ affirming, social justice oriented perspective.

When not in the role of Therapist, she can be found watching The Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition and asking to pet your dog.
