How much will therapy cost?

Our fees for therapy:

  • Therapy Sessions and Parent Collateral Sessions (45 min)

    Senior Therapists - $250

    Therapists - $200

Interns and Therapists in Training: Sliding Scale

We accept payment by cash, credit, check, Zelle or Venmo. We offer sliding scale options and low fee options for those in financial hardship or who need a reduced rate.

Do you accept insurance?

We are in network with Cigna.

With some basic information about your Cigna insurance coverage, we are able to verify your coverage and any possible out of pocket expenses you might have, such as a deductible, co-pays, etc.

If you have another insurance company, you may be eligible for out-of-network coverage through your plan and your therapy may be covered in part or in full by your insurance plan.

Be sure to check your coverage carefully. Here are some good questions for when you speak with your insurance company:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible? How much is it and how much has been met

  • What percentage of the therapy fee is covered?

  • How many sessions are covered per year?

With out of network coverage, it is your responsibility to pay for sessions directly to our practice and we will provide a receipt you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you do not have out of network benefits, we will discuss a fee that works for both of us.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give their patients or clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
